The Las Positas College newspaper, The Express, has an article on Tyler's talk in its latest issue. It can be found online at . Click on "News" in the "Sections" box on the left and you'll find the article. It varies slightly from the print version due to editing. Unfortunately it is hard (actually impossible) to accurately capture a two hour talk by Tyler in 15 column-inches, but I thought friends of Tyler and Ayumi would be interested.

Thanks for the update, Ayumi!

Once the journey is complete, the film can then be truly completed, and I admire Tyler and Bobak for wanting to go back! I will be looking forward to Bobak's updates once they are back in Iran. Bobak's blog was a fantastic resource the first time.

Eric, I must give an update for I Ran Iran. Tyler and Bobak have been working to get back into Iran to complete the run, which looks to happen this November. He has great footage so far, but feel the story is not complete without finishing the run. Hence, the documentary will be finished after the run finishes. So..... may be longer. Meanwhile, he is working on another project to keep the juice flowing. Will keep you updated.

Thanks for the luck Virginian9000!

KenChan, You were going to fly in from Seattle!! Would have loved to meet you. Sure, I respect all parents, because it is one of the toughest jobs out there. Thank you for the congrats!

Hi Ayumi-san!
I am a big fan of you and Tyler!
I found out this event a few weeks ago from the wife of the organizer of this event (S.D.-san's wife Motoko-san), and I really wished I could have been there! I live in the Seattle Area and I have three little kids, so family duties prevented me from going (can I get you to come up here to take care of our kids sometime? :-)), but I wanted to personally congratulate you two on the Kintaro film. Watching the video, I felt like my soul was savouring a plateful of comfort food... It was really soothing to watch Tyler go to a place he'd never been, just take in the scenery and become part of it. But of course, he wouldn't have done it if he hadn't been inspired by you. (I *loved* some of your comments about the benefits of having boyfriend travell by foot and his - ahem - improvements to his physique. LOL!)

You two seem like a wonderful couple. Especially when you saw that you were "captivated" by him during his talk. That's true love, isn't it?

I wish you all the best!

Wow, Ayumi!!

I wish I could have seen that presentation! I'm sure it was fantastic. I can't wait for "I Ran Iran". I think it comes out this June. Las Positas College got a real treat with yours and Tyler's presence. I continue to enjoy the gifts you two bring to the world. Thanks!
