Body odor

My father smells like a happy, buttery sea otter. Not that I’ve smelled a buttery sea otter before, but his smell is warm, salty, blubbery, and very strong. Even his washed clothes are never free of his trademark scent. (There must be a hoard of otters livng in his dresser).

My name is Bill .com

Bill is currently on a solo journey around the world. He shares his experiences on his daily video blog at http://www.mynameisbill.com
I first met Bill in a dim-lit room, furnished only with a large mattress; he was lying there half asleep. It was Tyler’s idea to ‘go say hi to my best friend’ in the middle […]

Hurdle

The world is a jumble of causes and effects. Sometimes, I get caught in my own jumble.
It’s good to talk, it’s good to let it out. In letting go, I saw what it was about, and saw that there was a hurdle.
“God only sets jumpable hurdles” a friend wrote in her blog.
I know I’m half […]
