What to do if an eyeball falls out
Took a CPR / First Aid course. A flamboyant instructor who had eyebrows neater than mine, told us in his sparkling voice, what exactly to do if an eyeball falls out. Just in case.
First, you find a clean cup, scoop the dangling eye, and hold it against the face. Next, you fix the cup on your face by wrapping gauze over the cup and around the head, making sure to also cover the working eye. This is important, because the eyes work in tandem, and you don’t want the healthy eye moving about looking at Saks Fifth Avenue sale signs.
Something new every day. Just in case.

I’ve taken a million first aid classes and I’ve NEVER learned that one. WOW!
